Many are looking for the perfect San Diego home “deal” it’s worth bearing in mind that if you are not an investor and plan to live in the home for some time you should:

  • homemakers 300x199 Looking for a deal ..Remember if it’s a home to raise children in – are there safe community parks and other amenities nearby, like swimming pools and sporting opportunities such as soccer or tennis.
  • Is it a home that you would enjoy decorating and improving over time.
  • Would the entertainer in you enjoy having friends and family over, has the home got that the casual or formal flair you are looking for.
  • Consider your purchase as a place to call home, your shelter, a refuge from the world.
  • Look at the long term advantages of paying down your mortgage as an investment that will provide a nest egg for your retirement planning.
  • A home provides stability, roots and a sense of connection with the community – something that’s sadly lacking if you rent.
  • A good deal is only a deal if your choice matches your criterior in respect to neighborhood amenities, schools, commuting times etc as well as the basics of size and floor plan.

An old adage of mine is “You can’t drive up to the house every night and wonder what was I thinking!” Buyers should also acknowledge that choosing a home and playing the market are two different things …

With all that being said there are some very well priced homes out there with motivated sellers, so if you are thinking of buying contact us and let’s get the ball rolling!
